Apply to become a mentor.
Register to volunteer for a minimum of 2 hours each month for 1 or more months.
The MTM Network Peer-to-Peer Mentorship program is designed to give busy independents the flexibility they need to grow while also growing a thriving business. Our peer-to-peer mentorship program is available at no cost to all registered members and provides both private and group mentorship opportunities on sustainable business growth topics including:
- Small business management, including time and money management
- Sales, networking, and marketing
- Technology training
Each mentor/mentee match chooses the times, frequency, and formats they determine work best for the goal at hand. However, we do require a minimum commitment of 15 minutes/per week via text or direct message for all matches. Mentees are also required to commit to a minimum of 2 hours of volunteering for #MTMNmentors.
Acting as a friend, a teacher, and a guide to the real world, MTMN peer-to-peer mentors have the opportunity to encourage and advise members by sharing their own experiences and knowledge of the current business landscape. MTMN mentees learn practical and actional advice while continuing to run their businesses.
Everything in business should be this easy.

Cambridge Local First (CLF) is a non-profit network of 450+ local and independent businesses in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our mission is to support, promote, and celebrate a “local economy community” by educating the public and government about the significant environmental, economic, and cultural benefits of a strong local economy.
We extend our most sincere gratitude to these organizations for the support and resources they have provided to bring this program to fruition.
